Dingle is the center of the Irish music scene, which is not to be missed. Local musicians are talented far beyond the level of professional. We were lucky enough to enjoy two planned concerts and then we followed the tips of the locals to enjoy the backstreet pubs of the town. Our tour guide Tim O’Sullivan gave us a behind-the-scenes peek at life in Dingle, past and present. Our tour also provided sights of the whiskey distillery and a taste of moonshine, Irish style, on its way to becoming fine whiskey. The crystal manufactory answered our questions about this iconic Irish tradition.
